Hey team, there has been too much recent posts on pillreports of legal highs being passed off as the real deal, this is continuing to happen and something needs to be done.

So this is not a thread for filling up with crap and asking questions about which legal highs are good and bad there is enough of that as it is.

This is a thread for Pictures of said legal highs which are ripping people off and making people ill.
I request to you mods that this thread stays open indefinately as it is entirely for the purpose of HR.

[Edit: Pics removed due to inclusion of source URLs]

If someone else has anymore pictures or a better quality picture feel free to upload.

These legal highs often contain DMAA (Methylhexaneamine)
which is an attempted BZP replacement (sad that they replace pipes with is something just as bad) Serious adverse effects including headache, nausea, and stroke have been reported in recreational users of these products

Aswell an unknown substance which they have refused to comment on, which in itself to me sounds just like the scare campaigns they use against Ecstasy ;)

Party safe

Good idea TS14

It's sad to see so many reports of these getting passed off as ecstasy. The users need to be educated about the many different legal high pills and their main ingredient.

Methylhexaneamine (Forthan, Forthane, Floradrene, Geranamine), also known as dimethylamylamine (DMAA), is a drug and simple aliphatic amine used as a nasal decongestant, as well as treatment for hypertrophied or hyperplasic oral tissues, and as an active ingredient in party pills in New Zealand. Once trademarked under Forthane by Eli Lilly in 1971, the trademark has since expired, and so methylhexaneamine should not be confused with isoflurane, whose proprietary name in Australia is also Forthane. It is a vasoconstrictor, and can be administered by inhalation to the nasal mucosa to exert its effect. The trademark Geranamine is currently owned by Proviant Technologies. Methylhexaneamine is also a constituent of flower oil, sold as an integral component of nutritional supplements

Chemistry

Methylhexaneamine may be synthesized by reacting 4-methylhexan-2-one with hydroxylammonium chloride to give the oxime, followed by reduction via sodium in ethanol.

Uses

Although intended by Eli Lilly to be used as a nasal decongestant, methylhexaneamine has been marketed by certain companies as a dietary supplement in combination with caffeine and other ingredients, under trade names such as Geranamine and Floradrene, to be used as an OTC thermogenic or general purpose stimulant. Methylhexaneamine itself has not been studied intensively and its pharmacological profile has not been evaluated since Eli Lilly filed its patent in 1944, stating that the stimulant effects on the CNS are less than that of the related compounds amphetamine and ephedrine.

Methylhexaneamine is not FDA approved in its own right, although it is a component of geranium oil which is approved for use in foods, and so this has been used to justify claims that it should be classified as a dietary supplement rather than a pharmaceutical product. However while it may be technically correct to say that methylhexaneamine is a dietary supplement as it is a component of the oil from Pelargonium graveolens which is approved for use in foods, methylhexaneamine comprises only 0.66% of geranium oil, and pure synthetic methylhexaneamine is thus quite different from geranium oil.

Like all stimulants, methylhexaneamine carries a risk. Abusing any stimulant can have serious side effects and it is important to follow the proper dosing instructions and care must be taken to not abuse this substance past the recommended doses in products.

Use as a recreational drug

In New Zealand, methylhexanamine (under the name 1,3-dimethylamylamine or DMAA) is an emerging active ingredient of party pills, where it has replaced benzylpiperazine or BZP which has been illegal in that country since 2008. Serious adverse effects including headache, nausea, and stroke have been reported in recreational users of these products. In November 2009, the New Zealand government indicated that methylhexanamine would be scheduled as a restricted substance. Listing a drug as a restricted substance in New Zealand means it would be illegal to:

* Sell or supply methylhexanamine to anyone under 18
* Advertise methylhexanamine in the media
* Offer methylhexanamine as a gift or reward
* Sell or supply methylhexanamine from premises where alcohol is sold or from service stations
* Sell methylhexanamine from any premises where children or minors gather

You should repost the images they all link back to the website that is selling the junk.

Edit: Save the images to your pc then upload them to somewhere like Photobucket / image dump.

i bought sample packs of all these. waiting on them in mail. I emailed the business asking since Im a paying customer did they want to share the ingredients and I get no reply lol..

I have never been so sick in my life than after having these. These are very dangerous and should be avoided at all costs.

Illegal MDMA pills are by far a safer option to be consuming in my opinion.

Mate anything that is legal is either shit ie doesnt work or makes u sick. I found out the hard way too.

The "unknown substance" is PEA (PHENETHYLAMINE). I don't have the source atm but they were tested in the UK. I'll have a look later for the source.

I had the chance to try these legal pills today and went for it .... I regretted it about 2 hours later.
It was a redd heart
with dmaa/pea/hordedine

Superharsh comedown at about 3 hrs after consuming when I was only 'up' for about 20 mins, it felt like I was coming up on mdma with the body rushes but then disappeared and left my quite tired and really scattered.

quite glad I didnt eat a 2nd I can see where people get into trouble after dropping only 1 or 2 more.

I remembered they had the taste from white hearts @ about march... the only bad pills Ive ever gotten which made me quite ill atleast now my tongue can identify dmaa.

With Diablo, PEA, caffeine and DMAA have been identified, but in the products sold in Aus, a large mol weight unknown also showed up that has yet to be identified (the compound/s may or may not be active).

this is an interesting one 4 me as there has just been a shop open in my area that contains many of these types of product.... have not personaly gone too far into lookin into them or even had any but the only imput i can think of is the golden do your homework on these things first...the info is out there u just gotta find it.
:\

Stay away from Hypnotics! Resorted to two of these around 2 months ago and spent 7-8 hours being sick and feeling incredibly drained and ill, was horrible. In fact stay away from all these in general.

Glaucine perhaps?

Please note the stroke mentioned as a side effect above was not from party pills but a result of NZ retailers selling pure DMAA in gram bags. IV users were shooting the whole gram at once which resulted in some suffering strokes.

Blanketlol, how was the next day? any different?

and did you feel sick at all?

just a bit tired/drained.... head still feels abit slow.

nah i didnt feel sick at all.. I have a fairly iron stomach tho never really get nausea from any other drugs.... pretty dehydrated though.

guys if there is pea in those i would be 90% certain that the unknown ingredient would be a mao-b inhibitor like Hordenine which was in the ones i took.

I'm sure we've reached the consensus that legal highs should be avoided, several times.... there's just no telling how adversely you're going to react to them.

To be given them in place of an MDxx pill would be a giveaway, cause they have a fairly waxy/sheen-like coating on the outside, that regular/run of the mill illicit beans do not come with, generally speaking!

Same goes for most illegal highs, too mind you...unless you've been 'round long enough to differentiate for yourself between the good, the bad and the ugly...

^Most have the waxy coating and do not look like traditional MDMA pills. Some do though. The new ones do not tend to have the radioactive taste that was a dead giveaway with the piperazines.

I think people need to look beyond the whole legal = bad, illegal = good thing. Remember LSD and MDMA where once legal highs. There are legal highs currently on the market that are very enjoyable, others that are terrible. While most currently contain DMAA, some contain other ingredients.

These are currently being sold in Adelade These are the aspirin painkillers 'Disprin'
I know it's not really a legal high, but I think it should still go in, because they are so easily obtainable
