Tom Cruise is fucking nuts

Normally I don't give two shits about this celebrity nonsense, but my flatmate has been watching the press he's been getting on Oprah (WTF was that?) and 60 Miniutes (which was weird) so I'm kinda forced into seeing his media exposure. Creepy guy. Creepy Scientologist asshole.

(OOOOHHH you can't say that Istigeit! Just cause he's a Scientologist doesn't mean shit, etc, everyone's free to choose their own religion blah blah blah...)

Yeah, well guess what? Fuck that PC shit. He's a creepy guy. Flame me.

Also i heard that Tom Cruise has begged Nicole Kidman to be a guest at his wedding to Katie Holmes, saying she must attend to set a good example for their kids. As if Tom being a complete lunatic isn't strong enough parenting on its own. Which it is, because having your dad jump around on Oprah and then denounce psychiatry as the work of the Devil is pretty much the best example a parent can set. I mean, next to murdering orphans and eating their internal organs that is, which is also pretty good parenting if you ask me.

I have a question for all of you that are very upset with Tom Cruise. Do you think this effects his acting at all, do you see an asshole seeping through into his on screen characters? And either way does this skew your decision to see his films? past films and present.
 
I personally won't knowingly give my money to anything that could possibly and indirectly fund the Church of Scientology.

Since Tom Cruise can't act, all you get to see is Tom Cruise on screen, switching between his three facial expressions on cue (if on cue at all). So no, his 'asshole-being' does not seep through, it's always right there. It doesn't break through the surface, it IS the surface.

On a more general note. I can destingish between on on-screen persona and the actor in real-life if the actor is capable enough. I couldn't care less what, for example, Sean Penn is doing politicly, as long as he keeps being a good actor.
Actually, I don't care what kind of personal lives actors have, als long as they're enjoyable in what they do.
 
i think 90% of the people who think he's "nuts" think he's nuts because they heard it on the internet and cnn or summat.

when has believing that psychiatric drugs are more damaging than they are worth ever been considered "nuts"? (i guessi'm creeepy for believing much of the same thing)

when has sticking to your beliefs despite everyone calling you ""nuts"" for having said beliefs (that actually aren't that bad) ever been "nuts"?

when has reacting calmly to a gag that someone like Russell Crowe would have used to throw a cellphone at the gag-er considered ""nuts""...

i imagine someone's gonna post one of those crazy paparazi shots with him making some weird face... we all make weird faces... his just happens to get plastered on the net when he makes them...

"nuts" is that dude that admitted to raping more than 40 boys before he was 16 years old.... knowing that HE was around for years before getting caught.... THAT is "nuts". (and evil)

psychiatric medicine is bad b/c of the over prescribing of medicine to people who don't need it. It's corruption at the finest levels in the pharmacudical industry. But psychiatry as a science itself is not bad. I think it's in its early stage but feel it's in it's right direction.

Scientology was founded off a hissy fit Ron L Hubbard created by damning all psychiatric practices. Then couple that with all the alien mumbo jumbo and the fact that you have to be a hollywood nutcase anyways to belong...

As far as i'm concerned every member of that "church".. Cruise, Hubbard, Beck.. and whoever else can fucking blow me. They're wack jobs that belong to a cult. Not some hocus pocus religion, a fucking cult. A cult with lots of money.
