Tom Cruise is fucking nuts

Wait a minute, please don't tell me Beck is a Scientologist. omfg you're right. I'm not gonna let it stop me from loving his music but damn, wait, that might explain why Midnight Vultues was such a bad album.

^^^ i liked midnight vultures. nonetheless yes, beck recently made the rather retarded plunge. which is weird, because although he's an odd guy, he seems really intelligent.

TOM CRUISE Tom Cruise on the Universal Efficacy of Vitamins in Treating every Medical Problem Known to Man

I sat down with award-winning actor (LISA--PLEASE FACT CHECK) Tom Cruise at Campanile recently to discuss recent breakthroughs in the use and application of Vitamins to address maladies which have up to now been addressed by other--and to Tom Cruise’s mind, less effective and possibly even harmful--methods

Your deciding to speak out publicly and authoritatively about medical matters makes you sort of anomalous among movie actors.

You know, you get to a point where you say enough is enough. People are being misled, badly cared for, and needlessly damaged by the attitudes prevalent in American Medicine, movie actors among them.

Like whom?

Well, take for example Christopher Reeve.

Who suffered massive spinal cord injuries in a riding accident.

Exactly. Now here is a man, and I care about Christopher Reeve because I think he is an incredibly talented man. But look at him; where has his career gone?

I, uh, hate to be the one to tell you this, but Mr. Reeve passed away last year.

You're kidding.

I wish I were.

Dammit. That is devastating to me--Could I get some more iced tea?--It's painful because I know if I'd spoken out earlier, he could've been saved. That's the tragedy of it. Well, it is what it is.

lol TOM has his own website
check it out HERE IS HIS MEDICAL BLOG

I personally won't knowingly give my money to anything that could possibly and indirectly fund the Church of Scientology.

The only Tom Cruise films, IMO, where he could actually stop being TOM CRUISE and actually play a character were Collateral and Born on the Fourth of July. Hes obviously desperate for an oscar and SUCKED IN to him because Nicole got one and he hasnt yet.

I dont like him a great deal because he comes off as a control freak who always in "IM THE ALL POWERFUL TOM CRUISE" character. His mask slipped somewhat during an Aussie 60 minutes interview and his nasty side really came out.

Unfortunately my father in law is a devoted Scientologist and we get PAMPHLETS for christmas every year. I would never support a "religion" that demands women give birth in silence as any screams or cries will affect the baby's personality. Childhood illnesses are caused by upsets and arguments within the household? Give me a break!8) 8)

Yes I would, even though I've been his biggest fan since Sterophonic Soul Manure. But yes I would hate him. Unless he said something I liked, then I would like him. See how this works? I play both sides.

^But, just because you hate him as a person wouldn't necessarily mean you would have to hate him as a musician. I mean.. you can hate a person and still enjoy how they act or play music. Correct?

I have a question for all of you that are very upset with Tom Cruise. Do you think this effects his acting at all, do you see an asshole seeping through into his on screen characters? And either way does this skew your decision to see his films? past films and present.

Having lived so close to Hollywood myself, I've come to realize that Actors and Actresses are just people. And like most people they are not well educated in the world of Politics, Medicine, Psychiatry, and well, just about everything. I think that we, as the general public, need to remember that. These people are no different than the rest of us, and we don't know everything about everything. As Tom Cruse about working with Dustin Hoffman, but not about what to do about finding world peace, or fixing the world's mental problems. He doesn't have any idea. Yes, he may have more influence because of his job, but we all have to make our own decisions. Don't stop going to his movies, if you like them, or watching your tv if something good is on. But make your own decisions, and find your own answers. Your movie stars can't tell you everything. THINK FOR YOURSELF PEOPLE. It's up to you.

Has anyone else had the pleasure of watching Cruise's Inside The Actors' Studio episode that should have been entitled Two Hours Of Unedited Hubris?

When you're arguably the biggest movie star of your generation, and James Lipton doesn't kiss your ass . . . you might be an asshole.

If Holden Caulfield would have been mute in Catcher In The Rye, he could have saved up all 63,894 of the times he used the word "phony" in Catcher and used them to describe Tom Cruise, and that would be Holden Holdin' Back.

Have I mentioned the fact that I don't care for Tom Cruise as a "human being?"

I would like to say that i just watched The Last Samurai on HBO and i loved it ...but there was still something about tom cruise being the lead actor that sort of held me back from thoroughly sympathising with said role portrayed. What a shame. Nuff Said.
