I see people posting here and on comments at PR how people should space rolls out so they don't build up too high of a tolerance. I suppose that I'm confused. Is this a new thing?
In 2006 I rolled very regularly in Ireland. By regularly, I mean, every Friday and Saturday night (and sometimes several times during the week), for every week over a period of 6 months. Pills in Ireland at this time were not expensive (3 euro/ea).
We would pop 1 (sometimes 2 at once to start), another an hour later and on weekends, might take 4-5 throughout the night to keep a buzz till early morning. We did this AT LEAST every Friday and Saturday night.
We usually just chilled at home (wife and me), lit about 100 candles, listened to some tunes and just hung out either on our own or with friends, all loved up, feeling great, chatting, telling each other how much we loved each other, texting to everyone we knew on the phone, etc. etc.
Always felt good the next day, never had problems the other days of the week and always looked forward to doing it again the next weekend. Sometimes, we would do it every day of the week when we had a big stash of yokes.
Every time, it was awesome, with the exception of the occasional dud -- but that didn't happen too often.
So what is up with all of this talk about spacing rolls out several months apart all of a sudden. Have pills changed so much in the last 4-5 years? I just don't get it. Or are pills here in the States different than they are in Ireland?
Lately, I was lucky enough to have some pure Molly here in Washington State (never tried that before and liked it but not as much as the pills we had in Ireland) and the same thing. We'd get a couple of grams and do some each night until it was gone. Night after night it was always good. No bad come down, no depression. No tolerance problem.
WTF?
I feel like everyone is talking about a different substance than what I have always taken.
