tolerance or did I get crap 2X

so, i iv'd like 6 10mg ambiens last night; i put 2 pills in a 1cc rig since zolpidem water solubility at 80F is like 23mg for 1ml

the ambien i used was teva, 10mgs, IR zolpidem tartrate

i mean i take xanax fairly often but even .5mg of xanax affects me

so is it this brand of ambien or me?

also, i prepped 4 pills of phenobarbital (donna) 15mg or 17.5mg tablets

I IV'd and felt nothing. chomped xanax and a clonidine and feel nothing but a slight stomach ache and a little thirsty.
 
Is really not a good idea to IV pills, they are not made to be injected, all kinds of nasty things could happen.

Not sure about the answer to your question though, they could just be bunk pills or it could be tolerance, don't really think anyone can answer that question.
 
All I can think of is that you have a huge tolerance. If your using phenobarbital, ambien, and xanax, those drugs all work on basically the same receptors and I believe there all cross tolerant with eachother (correct me if im wrong...). Maybe try only using the xanax for a few days and give the phenobarb and ambien a break? I dunno man, :p
 
I have IV'd ambien many times in the past. Now the only times I would get a good rush/high from it would be the 1st or 2nd shot I did, the first day I would get my script. Any time I tried to do a shot after taking ambien for consecutive days the effects would be negligible. Benzos and z-drugs (ambien for example) are semi cross tolerant so if you have an existing tolerance to xanax than I wouldn't expect much from IVing ambien.

But if you do succesfully get a good shot out of it, the rush is honestly a lot similar to cocaine. Pretty unique drug, I definitely didn't expect that from a shot of ambien, of all things. It is a pretty intense rush that fades into a semi-stimulated yet sedated semi psychedelic haze.
 
SO how much ambien can u fit in 1 cc? i thought i read 23mgs of ambien per 1 cc of water.
funny thing, i dont have much of a xanax tolerance and dont take phenobarbital regularly - like 2 times this year. I also dont take ambien regularly this is why this is puzzling..

damn i wish i got the same experience...everytime i try ambien i alsways pass the fuck out....but you really have done it all haven't you? iv'ing ambien, damnn....
 
First, I'd like to repeat what mugabe mentioned: it's dangerous to shoot pills, so you have to know what you're doing and you have to have a good filter, because pills are full of junk that you wouldn't want coursing through your veins.

We don't know whether it's your tolerance or you just got bunk pills. All it will lead to is speculation, therefore I am closing this thread.
