Tolerance Drop

With Codeine, how fast does tolerance drop?

If I was taking say 210mg at the beginning of the week and by the end of the week I was taking 350mg... As tolerance builds.

But the next week I dropped straight down to 20/30mg a day from 350mg for around 5/6 days (just to stop withdrawal), would my tolerance to get "high" be reset and be even lower than 210mg when I go back?
 
Interesting question......if you're not always jumping up to 300mgs like once or twice every month......& this is only like 3 or 4 times a year thing, you should be okay......but if you're jumping up to 300mgs once a week, then eventually the smaller 20mg doses won't do much for you.
 
I probably didn't make it sound very clear. I can only get high every other week. So one week I'm taking high doses of codeine 210mg-350mg, then the following week when I'm NOT trying to get ANY effects from codeine I take 20/30mg for around 5/6 days just to keep WITHDRAWAL at bay not to get any effects.

So I wanted to know when after the week where I've been taking 20/30mg and go back to taking large doses to get high, would my tolerance of dropped so I can reset back at 210mg or would I have to carry back on from 350mg?
 
It would likely have dropped, though not to baseline levels. Chances are you will be back at the higher end of your dosage range much faster with each successive 'cycle'.

This.......like I said above before.......you could get away with it several tines a year, but it seems you want yo do it twice a month........eventually your tolerance will go up.....it also depends on how your body accepts & breaks down opiates......you may be one of the lucky ones that can take the same exact dose for years & still feel good & get high from it.
 
I agree, it will go back to high levels quickly.
But holy F! You can stop effects of WD with less than 10% of your regular dose ? I had no idea such a small proportion would take awayvWD.
