Hello BL, i use to be a former member but drifted off some time back.
i recently got off opiates, was up to 90-120mg daily for two years.
i came across 10 10mg opana, and took two off the bat. now if i had 0 tolerance, i should have been stuck on the couch, i hardly felt a thing. my pupils were tiny and constricted, but the effects were slim to none. that goes for the rest of the 8 of them... Why is this? ive been cleaned for about 3 weeks before this incident. now its been 2 weeks since then, and worried if i spend money, it would be useless. why is nothing felt, even with 0 tolerance..

Ive been taking kratom, and this first dose of kratom felt great, then the next day- same time, slightly higher dose, NOTHING felt?? kratom is different i know, but still..

wtf??

thanks..
theory

well ive gone thru the w/d and everything, not sick or anything anymore. anyway, when i would be 2 days sick and take ONE opana, i would feel it. so 3 weeks without anything, and taking TWO of them, i should have been lit..

Oxymorphone (Opana) has a laughably low oral bioavailability. Are you eating them or insufflating?

Insufflated, a single 40mg Opana (I hear ya, you have 10's, but hold on), is equal to 2-4 30mg Roxycodones, depending on how well you get it to stay in the nasal cavity. Meaning, 10mg Opana would be about 15-20mg Oxycodone.

So, back to the italicized question...

Your tolerance is in no way zero after three weeks off. It will be lower than it was sure, but it takes much longer than that to come back to anything like base levels before you started using opiates. It's debatable if it ever comes back to base levels even after many years, though it gets very close. Your brain will always remember what opiates are and what to do with them, so tolerance reestablishes itself very rapidly once you've had a habit, as does addiction. You take anything that's cross-tolerant for opiate receptors you will notice diminished effects in a matter of days, exactly as you've found with the kratom.

A very good point.

What method of administration/route of administration are you using when you're taking the Opana?
