It's interesting to note TT is no longer promoted (in Melbourne at least) as a current affairs programme, but as a public affairs programme. I think there's a fundamental difference there. It's basically saying that they are no longer journalists presenting the news, but story tellers producing segments that will be pleasing to viewers.
It is also interesting to note that Kerry Packer has noticed how shiteful ACA has become and has demanded the programme be restructured to the way it was back in the day when we had Jana asking the tough questions of the right people.
I may even watch a current affairs programme that shows on free to air television again (ABC ones suck just as much because they don't even try to hide their massive bias to the labor party anymore).
 
Í'm sorry I missed it, but I'll check out "Media Watch" next week and see if it makes an appearance.
