Today I am thankful for Dave's mum. She sent me a beautiful card with a lovely message, and a big yellow acid smiley face on the front (that had special meaning for Dave..)

She's a wonderful person. That, and getting out yesterday, and my friends, and seeing my grandma, and you guys have all come together to make today the best day I have had in a long while. I can handle the pain today, for the first time. There is a lot of good in the world <3

Thankful for a day off today. A much-needed day off. I will spend it reading <snip>, with my little furry friend by my side. It feels great.

Humility and People
...the spirit of 'Angel's' really do live; they are subtle and come out when least expected. I swear I cannot believe how amazing people are sometimes.
 
Today I'm thankful for being able to come home early. Not one of those typical 14 hour days for me. Time to go finish some school work, take my guitar lesson and kick it back for the rest of the night. No more procrastinating.

what makes your days so long? Do you commute along way to school or work right after school or both?

Typical day : Up at 5:30, out the door by 6:00
School - 7:10 -2:50
Marching Band - 3:30 - 7

Drive home, get home around 7:30 - 8, homework til I die at 10. Repeat. Thankfully practice ends in a few weeks...then i pick up a job maybe :P
 
I <3 my zafu. Haven't tried it with a zabuton, but I'd bet that I'd like it. The sides of my feet are pretty bony, and it gets unfomfy sitting cross-legged for long periods on a hard floor. All the more reason to open my hips enough to do a proper lotus, I guess.

I'm thankful for: my life. I've been incredibly fortunate, and while I'm not wealthy by any means, I'm not worried about where my next meal is coming from, or how long I'll be able to keep a roof over my head. After reading a bunch of the We Are The 99 posts, I've really realized how lucky I am to be able to live as I do. And for that, I am incredibly grateful.
 
Dave, today I am thankful for my life too. It's easy to forget that sometimes, isn't it? :)
 
Today, I am thankful my boss called in sick to work, cause I didn't get a wink of sleep last night and I look like hell!
 
^this. But mostly ATM the heart and the mind that give us the words from the one and only Panic in Paradise.
 
^ Definitely. Not always easy, but everything gets easier with practice :)

Today I am thankful for my beautiful home. It's good to be back.
