For pure, innocent, cute affection;
Today, after shift, I was standing around in a Tim Horton's Coffee parking lot, with the rest of boys (n and few gals) our black Suburban's parked, reds and blues strobbing, all of us decked head to toe in black fatigues, body armour, 'use of force implements' and those bug eye, canister gas masks that make one look like non humans. A friend of mine knew we'd be there.
So what happens? A cute, 5'3" girl with blue hair wearing a skirt a white shirt and chucks runs up to me, lifts my gas mask off and kisses me on the cheek. It was just so pure and cute and so totally lacking in malice that it stunned me more than if a MK-84 bomb had gone off. I am thankful today that such moments still affect me, and that people sometimes do such acts.
