The main purpose of Daylight Saving Time (called "Summer Time" in many places in the world) is to make better use of daylight. We change our clocks during the summer months to move an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening. Saves electricity spent on unnecessary lighting, thus helping the environment and our wallets.

Today I'm thankful for the second chance at life I've been given. Thankful to have family and friends by my side. Thankful to be in a committed relationship with a girl that knows and understands all aspects of my personality, and is still madly in love with me, despite my obvious flaws. There is too much to be thankful for, and I'm just starting to love and enjoy life.
