Today I Am Thankful For... Ver. 3: Earth, Wind and Fire!

A Traditional American Thansgiving!?!? :) Very cool Wabit, so it's popular in Aus, too? What kind of foods are on the menu?

I'm thankful to be invited to a friends house to celebrate Thanksgiving with as well :). Since it would suck to eat alone today. It's kind of an important day, especially since I know my family at home are having a serious feast, it's good to have somewhere to go so we don't feel lonely.
 
^ I got invited to a thanksgiving dinner today for the first time in 4 years! :) I'm wicked excited.
 
Attitude of gratitude V. Thankful for thanksgiving

What are things that you are greatful for bluelight? Whenever I am craving or having a shitty day I like to think of everything I am greatful for and when I do spit reminds me of why I am sober today. Optimism and greatful ness is a huge part of my sobriety and I think everyone could reall use an attitude of gratitude

I'll start

I am greatful for an awesome home cooked meal on thanksgiving.
I am greatful to have the ability to read and write.
I am greatful for my ability to think clearly.
I am greatful for the sober people I live with.
 
At this time in Pennsylvania my parents are enjoying the most awesome dinner tradition that's been cooked by my grandmother since before I was born. I am terribly sad I am missing it since even the coldest of feelings you could have, the warmth of that family gathering always brought laughs and smiles. I'm thankful my grandmother is still alive and well and continuing the tradition. I hope to get to join in for our Christmas tradition at her house. <3 So today I am most thankful for both my grandmothers but mostly my Grandma E. <3. I hope there are many smiles and loud talk across the table going on right now :).
