Today I am thankful for... ver. 2: thankful for all the darksiders!

watching my ex jerk off on cam and that is he alive. and my friend and benefactor, of course, who took me in and tolerates and even jives with my mental problems. to being on an upward tilt instead of sliding into death. despite any drunken 'sodes. to my favorite schizos and their crazy theories. to life. for this i am thankful
 
...thankful that all my break-ups have been so mutually destructive and painful that I at least know my exes aren't masturbating over thoughts of me. Thankful that I'm no longer addicted to opiates, and that I told my last connect to go fuck himself when he started dealing weapons alongside the pills and powders. And very thankful for TDS, the only place for me to be when in w/ds (benzos this time) or deep internal darkness, which is most of the time these days. Thankful to be in a house full of books, from trash to classics and all points inbetween, 'cos I burned out on box sets and compulsive movie-gazing when coming off the painkillers/painbringers, and nothing else passes the time so effectively or distracts me from my craving.

Thankful, finally, that I'm not Mitt Romney, win or lose, and that Al Gore eventually found his sense of humour.

^ That one's a big one for me too. My mindstate is something I try never to take for granted these days.

I'm thankful that spring finally seems to be on its way. I love the way the air smells different, like flowers. It's going to be so welcome after such a cold winter.

We are the opposite. (besides the fact we we are in entirely opposite seasons at all times) I'm in Florida in the US and we're the only state in the tropics zone. The heat in the summer especially August and September is unbearable. I sit in my house waiting for winter. I should start posting in the Aus section. Both me and you guys can praise our glorious winter/summer and curse the heat/cold at the same time =D.

I have yet another thing to be thankful for today. I received an interview for a job that I put in a very bare resume I whipped up in 20 minutes. It was the only place that called me back after I put in probably 20 applications elsewhere which involved that time consuming personality test questioners. Go figure. Now when I go in for the interview they can do the real personality test :) not some generic internet one. And it's something I enjoy doing and the job that was closest to my house. What luck!

Today (and every day, but especially today) I'm thankful for all my friends in TDS. Specifically, stardust and herby. You ladies have been such amazing and supportive friends to me. I love you both more than words can say. <3 <3 <3

Thanfkfull that as of today, my husband's treatments are OVER!! Now he is on a mission to rid his body of all the chemicals from chemo, etc. and he won't let me make him a pie because of the sugar LOL! I told my son,"OK fine, but can you and I go out for pie?" There is a place up the coast where they make the most delicious pies. They make Ollallieberry pie---if you know what that is then you know where I live!=D

okay I gotta ask, what the heck is an ollallieberry pie?! I also can't for the life of me say that :D
