I'm just wondering what your experience with it was? good, bad etc? I have been running a low grade fever almost every day for the past year and a half, and my rhem doctor just put me on this starting tomorrow, am stressing it a bit because I've read some scary side effects, my system is sensitive to a lot of medicines, even ones I took before I can't now or need a lower dose since I started having my fevers. Its only for 6 days, so I can probably deal with it if I hear what other experiences were. Thanks.

I wouldnt worry. Methypredisolone is a strong steroidal anti-inflammatory, Ive had to use it many times in the past for things such as a severely strained back. It works. Its also pretty much just prednisone except its changed up a bit so its not destroyed so much by the liver. A lot of people use those medications. Only thing I would tell you would be not to drink alcohol or take any other anti-inflammatories such as advil(ibuprofen) or aleve(naproxen).

Dont worry you will be fine.

It made me about ready to kill someone. Seriously I was so aggressive on that stuff, but I liked it in a way. It also made my body feel warmer and my face red. Whether or not I actually developed a higher body temp, I don't know. It does work, though, for the purpose it's intended.

Thanks Nikolai, was okay on it.. Monday was my last day.
still have the fevers though.. no really bad side effects at all while on it other then being hungry, having tons of energy and feeling stronger
