(where you will never see it)
You were more like raising a child
You were unresponsive and selfish
You were demanding, controlling, and hypocritical
You concerned yourself with nothing but yourself
You had the most beautiful eyes I've seen.
Your precocious energy was a boon to all around
You filled every void I could have had
You loved me, I can see that
That poem was never about you
...you let go.
And so should I.
So this is the last time
I will ever write about You.
Goodbye.
(Once in a while, we must not cater to any audience beyond ourselves. Every so often, we have to do something not because someone might see it, but beacuse we have to see it in ourselves.)

I always write for myself. :-)
That poem was never about you
...you let go.
And so should I.
And so you should.
And I hope this is the last time you feel you have to write about her hun.
It's always the people who aren't worth our time who fill our thoughts and waste our brain space.
Look after yourself.

Note To Self: (Once in a while, we must not cater to any audience beyond ourselves. Every so often, we have to do something not because someone might see it, but beacuse we have to see it in ourselves.)
^I have trouble remembering this sometimes.
those first two stanzas are exactly wht kept messing with me with an old girlfreind....whenever things were going good Id start to notice the selfishness and spite and when things were going bad and I wanted to break up with her Id notice how much of a beautiful person she was, but it eventually ended and we're both a lot happier now :)
great work! thanks :)
