I've been messing around with oxycotin for 2-3 years now and been doing oxycotin everyday for a couple months now.. I do around 80mg a day and the "high" has completely disappeared I use and i'm just normal i only get high if i double my dose.. I've been debating shooting up.. what are the pros and cons of shooting oxycotin vs snorting it?

I'd advise against it, it's a path that's caused alot of problems for just about everyone who does it, myself included.

And oxy isn't really all that much stronger IV anyway, not like many other drugs are.

Based on my personal experience shooting drugs I would not recommend it. For me it has been incredibly addictive. I am more addicted to the process of injecting then I am to any single drug.

There are people like myself that are scared of needles & would never take that route. I absolutely hate needles! My question is, do most people hate needles but just take the needle route for administering drugs because the rush is better & their phobia of needles goes away?

I saw you wrote that the process of setting up & using the needle is what you like more than the drugs which is wacky to me but I understand what you mean.

i dont encourage it or recommend it at all. however if you do decide to walk "the red carpet" make sure that you know what youre doing, be clean about it, and of course, never share needles or use them more than once. be safe and find the nearsest needle exchange in your area, and take it from there. like i said i dont encourage it or recommend it, but if youre going to do it do it right.

Highly recommend to not do it. So many more dangers with using needles - overdose, infection and abscess, hepatitis.

You are already hooked on oxycodone, right? (Everyday use for any amount of time, I consider hooked.) Shooting it will make the dose last LESS longer.

Yes I've used needles in the past, and I've been hooked on opiates. I don't recommend combining the two - you are just going further down a dark hole. How far down do you really want to go?

This is a tough question for me. I love the rush and started shooting Dilaudid. It is am amazing high but short-lived. Would I do it again? Yes, but like the post said above if you do, do it right.

I would not recommend it all either. I was petrified of needles so scared i wouldnt get pain relief during child birth. But once u do it there is no turning back and yes u lose ur fear of needles or at least u sticking the needle in. And yes getting a vein and pulling back on the plunger to see if u have registered is very addictting too! I dont know why this occurs. My friend was shooting up water.
