Today i sit here alone
wondering why
you painted such a beautiful picture
of all the things i could ever want
then burned it behind my back
with your signature somewhere eles
you touched my heart
in places its never been touched
and actually took the time
to look into my eyes
and see my smile
you promised me it would never change
and promised me your love would never hurt
obviously everything was empty
though you made it hard to belive
becuase i saw the joy in your eyes
heard it in your words
