Opioids To fight the nod or not?

Usually on opiates i will sleep for short periods of time, it could seem like 1 minute and 10 have passed and Vice Versa but im having the best fucking dreams, most pleasent dreams ever..but never sleep your high off man, i never sleep for more than 20 or so minutes when im hihg

My usual opiate routine is consume, wait an hour for effects to come on strong, till right before the peak, and smoke a blunt, then come back in and 'nod out'* if you will.



My definition of Nodding out is-closing your eyes and thinking, and having DREAMS WHILE YOU STILL AWAKE, but with your eyes closed. I NEVER fall asleep on drugs unless im way over the line, but alcohol will make me PTFO
 
Is the advilPM the only difference in you meds? I am wondering, because in this thread you said that you aren't feeling euphoria from hydrocodone anymore at doses of up to 40mgs, and instead just feel nauseous and lightheaded.

Now you are saying you are nodding off of 25mgs. If the addition of diphenhydramine is the only thing that is making you nod now, you might just be falling asleep, and it is not a true "opiate nod" I.e. not as euphoric.

Yeah I used to just feel sick from dosages higher than 40mg, but with the increased analgesia from the ibuprofen and the potentiation from the Diphenhydramine, I get moderate pain relief and no nausea. I get diplopia (Cross eyed) and just feel GREAT! Tomorrow i'll take just the Norco at 30mg and work my way up to at least 50mg if I can and have the "True nod"

I got prescribed 350mg Soma yesterday for the clenched muscle in my back, but haven't combined them in high doses yet. I'm also on 400mg Gabapentin 3x a day for neropathic pain. I know it's not just me falling asleep because I go out for about 30 seconds and bring myself back, and I'm feeling wonderful; Like I did whenever I first got Hydrocodone.

My health, Physical is fucked up, mental is perfect. I take the Advil PM with my dose at about 3 P.M. and don't fall asleep, just nod. I can bring myself out of it at anytime, and function just fine. Moderate pain relief, euphoria, etc. I haven't taken the Advil PM today but tonight i've decided i'm just going with Norco only. I will have some Benadryl in case of nausea, or I might just man up and throw up if need be.

^ I try to stay awake as long as possible on opiates. No point in wasting the high in my sleep. If you weren't aware, diphenhydramine is the common cut used in heroin in Chicago. I feel like some people from there end up wasting their high when I see them write something along the lines of "I did a shot/sniffed a line, and woke up 3 hours later with drool all over myself." That's wasting 3 hours of prime-time euphoria IMO.

I've never done heroin but that's pretty shitty to cut it with DPH and make the user pass out. So I guess I should stop taking the advil PM? But I am going continue the Ibuprofen 200mg because it really helps with the legitimate pain
