    Welcome Guest!

To all frequent abusers: Warning

Safrole is a rodent hepatocarcinogen, but they haven't done serious testing on it, for obvious reasons. It was found it might be harmful to humans (or it was conclusively found, read up on it a while ago). I don't think MDMA has proved to cause any physical ailments. Anyone remember if that guy that ate 30,000 rolls had physical trauma in addition to the irreversible mental trauma?

Somebody ate THIRTY THOUSAND rolls? Over how many years? Holy stupid. I wonder how much of that was from one presser. He must have kept a few dealers afloat!

And I never really think of physical problems from E since I space out a decent amount, I only really consider brain damage.
Actually, I know I can drop once for three or four days in a row and roll great all those days(that was a while ago, before I knew how bad that can be!), then not space out much at all for the next few weeks and keep rolling without taking much higher doses. Everyone is different.

Imagine what he could've done with 60$-150$ a day...
Over the term of two years, a net worth of $43,800-$109,500 worth in pills.

If he was abusing for years and rolling every day for months on end it would seem to me he didn't give a shit about his health and was probably very unhealthy in other aspects of his life, which is what could have caused the cancer.

not saying that E abuse is anything but unhealthy but......

correlation =/= causation

I doubt I'd ever be able to do 6-15 pills for even a week straight. On the other hand it sucks to hear this, Iv known a few people with cancer and it ain't no joke, it's a painful thing that I would never wish upon someone. My friends dog has lukemia, it's actually very sad.

I got an update from my friend. His doctor explained that while he was using so much ecstasy his calcium levels boosted enough to begin mutating his bone marrow, and combined with a weakened immune system severe longterm lack of sleep which allowed the mutations to progress quickly(turn into stage 3 cancer). He would take about 6-15 pills/day, depending on situations each day, for about 6 months, occasionally skipping a day. His doctor basically told him that his ecstasy abuse indirectly caused his cancer by increasing his calcium levels over time.

Do not heavily abuse this wonderful magical drugs guys. Please!

Heh I'm not totally convinced by the doctor's explanation. I understand chronic lack of sleep can weaken the immune system and could play a role, but I've never heard of calcium mutating bone marrow. If anything I would've assumed it's just the leukaemic bone marrow expansion damaging the surrounding bone causing excess release of calcium, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for this severley.

I like the way you handled it, not making any silly claims, just providing a warning that maybe its possible.

As pointed out, there really isnt enough long term studies done and particularly in siotuations where its being abused as that seems to happen rarely.

Thanks again.

i agree with you dan, this post was handled very property. wen i opened it i expected an inferno of flames but after reading it, how could anyone?

Two years ago, I dropped two pills EVERY single weekend, for one full year. NEVER missed a weekend. I would most definitely consider this "abuse", even though some people would not.

Once, I had extreme pain in my lower back region, and my face and arms broke out in a acne-like rash, that itched. I never found out if this was ecstasy-related, but I'm very well sure it probably was. Needless to say, I stopped dropping for a year after that occurrence :(

MDMA does lower your immune system, so being sick more often is definitely possible.

I understand, but my friend was going through 50-70 pills a week. I'm just trying to say that it's really a bad idea to abuse MDMA so frequently. Some people seem to think it's just as safe as smoking some bud
