*This method only applies to powdered drugs that are not extremely sensitive to minute dosage variations! So for example, that means don't use this method for something like fentanyl powder or the like*

I just wanted to share this method of dosing powder with everyone who doesn't own a scale, like me. I do this for Kratom powder, and as you can imagine, slight variances are irrelevant. I would imagine you could also do this if you had a stash of crushed pills and you knew how many pills there were, as well as the dosage per pill. I just posted a shorter guide for this method as a reply to someone else's thread, but I figured it would be more useful as its own thread and with more detail.

So for this I will use an example:
Let's say you purchased 2 ounces (56 grams) of Kratom, assuming you saw someone weigh it or you knew the weight was verified. You want to be able to dose the powder accordingly, and you know that 6 grams of this particular strain gets you where you want to be. Assuming you don't have a scale, you'll want to gather a cup to dump your powder into, and set of tablespoon measuring spoons (the ones that come in a set of 1/4, 1/2, and 1 tbsp sizes). Start by scooping up the powder 1 tbsp at a time, scraping the top to get an exact measurement, and dump these into your cup, counting as you go. So let's say your 56 grams of Kratom powder equated to 12 1/2 tablespoons. You would know that 1tbsp=(56grams/12.5tbsp)=4.48 grams per tablespoon. Then you would know that your preferred dosage, 6 grams, is equal to (6 grams/4.48 grams per tbsp)=1.34 tablespoons.

I hope this method can help people who don't have a scale. Hopefully, this may at least serve to help those who may have otherwise "eyeballed" something that they shouldn't have, possibly saving them from overdose or sickness.
Thanks for reading, and be safe!
*Remember: A nice reliable scale is always the safest way of dosing exactly how much you want. No method can replace this in measuring powders. Only use other methods if a scale is not available or not needed.*
