Tips on how to put on weight FAST.

Fast track to insulin resistance and poor self image IMO. But screw it because it's not like this is the healthy living forum or anything.
 
I would agree with you normally, but this is kind of a special case where the priority is getting as many calories in the body as quick as possible to return to a safe bodyweight.

If I was that underweight I would be prioritising getting myself back to a state where imminent organ failure isn't a danger before worrying about that sort of thing (which it probably is at the sort of bodyweight they are talking about unless they are really short). Different strokes for different folks though I guess.
