Tips on downing some Robo?

Well, i know in the past I've asked about gauf in dxm..etc. I just got some cough syrup with pure DXM HBr in it and did that for 3 nights in a row (i got up to 1g! That was CRAZY!). That was two weeks ago. Well, i got some more robo now (700mg, two 4oz bottles) and simply thinking of downing more syrup makes me sick. It was easy the first few times (i did polistirex one night...that actually tasted good, Delsym is awesome) but, i need some tips, because im going to probably end up doing it tonight, and id like to make it a bit easier. Read the erowid way already.

How do YOU down YOUR cough syrup?
 
i just drink it as fast as possible while holding my nose and then chase it with something. i usually pour the bottle out into a glass first though so i can drink it faster. then i take some tums and chew gum haha.
 
Pinch your nose and give her. It sure is nasty shit. I would usually brush my teeth after to get rid of the taste and smoke a little weed like 15-20 minutes later to hopefully quell the nausea.
 
what ever your dosage is drink half..if you really cant do it. wait till it kicks in, your taste buds should be numb from all the dxm running through your blood. now it should be 1000x easier to drink whatever is left

2nd alternative is...drink your robo and chase it with spicy doritios
 
Get Zicam cough mist or whatever its called; it's basically a 300ish mg dxm shot that isn't too hard to take.
 
I heard that too, but it really went down easier than most syrups I've tried. Regardless, I'd rather drink a shot of vile syrup than 8 oz (200ishmL) of normal syrup.
 
^ugh zicam tastes ungodly but s do robitussin syrups. like everyone has said drinking very fast then smoking bud is the best known way.
 
^what why don't more people use zicam?? i've never heard of it til now but i'm definitely going to try it next time. the syrup in robotussin is so gross.
 
yea, zicam is some crazy shit!!! i had a friend react badly to it somehow and started violently throwing up and he couldn't breathe really well! be careful with that shit if you decide to do it. I don't know what made him get that sick but it sure as hell wasn't just dxm.

It has to be the specific kind of Zicam. I think Zicam Night has like 700mg of DXM but I'm not sure.
 
When I drink the syrup I just hold my nose and drink the whole bottle in 2 huge gulps and then still holding my nose I take a huge gulp of coca-cola and swish it around my mouth and swallow. After I do that a few times I don't taste it at all anymore. Then I'll through on some tunes and an hour later I'll start smoking weed until the Dex takes ahold. Marijuana and DXM is one of my favorite drug combo's , throwing a bit of nitrous in is always fun too =D
 
Chewing gum right after chugging also gets rid of the taste, more effectively than a soda IMO.
 
Extracted DXM tastes god awful. You're basically drinking acid and water. It's so bitter and sour, and then you get that weird menthol taste of the flavor oils that survived the extraction...

There's nothing you're ever going to do that will make DXM taste good. Just center yourself, go to your happy place in your head, and prepare yourself to chug something nasty.
 
here in VA you can sometimes get these capsules that have DXM, idk what they are called but i would use those if you can. But drinking that much syrup is awful. I downed a bottle of CVS stuff with 750 mg and puked all over everywhere. THese shot things sound good so go for those if you can, anything that doesnt involve huge volumes of syrup.
 
Sure extracted DXM tastes bad but why the hell would you want to taste it???

The purpose of extracting DXM is to either parachute or put it in a gelcap. If done right you wont taste or smell the DXM at all.

I do the strait to base extraction and I get some nice fluffy crystalls that smell a bit weird. into a gelcap and down they go. no need to torture yourself.
