Which seems to be more affective of creating this effect.
Shrooms, or LSD.
Or any other psych that you've tried and experienced this. I'd say shrooms.

I'd say they all produce time distortion, and in my experience it is more a matter of dosage than any individual drug. For example 5 grams of mushrooms will produce more profound distortions of time than a low dose of LSD or another psychedelic. With that in mind, I would say DMT and 5-MeO-DMT most reliably produce the most profound and intense distortions of time for me

i would say that a single experience with Peruvian cubensis mushrooms revealed to me (what makes sense to me as)
the layout and interaction of conscious space, time, and physical matter throughout the universe.

now, all these revelations may or may not just be bullshit in the head of an acidfr33k, but it made sense to me,
and made sense of a few big things to do with time and the way it works in the universe

LSD in higher doses almost always creates VISUAL time distortion for. Like my world is a VCR that someone is playing with. It goes from slow-motion to fast-forward then quite suddenly things are normal speed again. I see this phenomena VISUALLY, it's not like I say "gee golly it's already 4 o'clock!".

Anyone else get this?

With shrooms it's more of a "I must have been here for an eternity!" time distortion feeling. Although... I haven't done shrooms in years:(

dmt feels the longest compared to the actual time frame, but I would say a high dose of mushrooms feels a lot longer then how long a dmt trip feels.

I just remember looking at my hand while on shrooms, 1hr into the trip, it melted and music felt pretty slow.
then blacked out, took off my clothes, and went crazy for 6 hours.

Not a psyche but the most outrageous time dilator for me has to be desoxypipradol. One time I had 500mg and thought I'd been up four days straight. Turned out it had been eight days straight. Was three days after my last dose when I finally slept. Has some serious fuckin' legs has desoxy.

like others said, its more about dose than anything else.

theres also a lot of subjectivity to the matter, as if a trip is fun and full of activities it will pass by faster than otherwise. my first lsd trip, with all the distortion and what not felt like it went by too fast for all the fun i was having, while an experience with some random stim left me waiting for hours on end for sleep to come - not fun at all.

With shrooms and LSD I find shrooms affects time more. I think ketamine is the most prominent for it or else a breakthrough on salvia.

Mushrooms for sure IME.

I've been on mushrooms and tripping hard and had a few minutes feel like an hour and time stopped completely at certain points during the experience.

A friend of mine has tripped on mushrooms and has seen time go backwards very briefly on them.

Herb can sort of dilate time but it's not anything like mushrooms. LSD has made me forget about time as a concept but time wasn't dilated during the trip even when I tripped very hard and had ego death on acid, like it was on mushrooms when I had ego fragmentation/death on them.
