Opioids Tilidin insufflation?

Hi,

I have this bottle of "valtran" which is a combination analgesic that contains the opioid tilidin and naloxone.

I was wondering if evaporating this mixture, and then snorting the residue would result in a better/faster high ?

I'm not sure because of two reasons, namely;

• It contains 4mg of naloxon fo every 50mg of tilidin. 50-70mg gets me high enough right now since my tolerance is close to zero. So would 4-8mg of naloxone insufflated be enough to antagonize the tilidin?
• It is a prodrug, the main active metabolite is nortilidine. So would snorting it and bypassing first-pass effect in the liver actually decrease the BA?

If so then I suppose it'd be a waste of time.

I've searched alot but never found any report of someone actually trying it. But if someone knows why it wouldn't work, I'd be glad to hear it.

This drug is meant for injection I take it? If it can be injected I'm almost certain it could be snorted. Whether this would increase the effects is anyone's guess as far as I'm concerned. If naloxone is mixed into the solution already, I don't think it would really antagonist the agonist all that much (such as with suboxone and bupe overpowering the naloxone), but I have no experience as I said. The intranasal BA is almost certainly lower than the IV or IM BAs, but it's probably relatively high.

Maybe you might wanna try plugging, seeing as it's already in liquid form? It would also give you more bang for your buck, in all likelihood, than intransal without the risks involved of using a needle.

The formula isn't for IV or IM, it's an oral solution. I believe the english brand name is (or was?) valoron. The naloxone is in it to prevent people from shooting it up, and to combat the constipation.
I'm not really for plugging. I tried it once and it left me feeling quite uncomfortable for a while so I prefer other RoAs.

So does the fact that it's a prodrug for nortilidine matter or not? I'm really curious about that.
Might try evaporating like 100mg and just try it. Worst case cenario I wasted 100mg. I hope the naloxone isn't active in that range of dosage.

And I'm fairly sure it can't be injected (the residue dissolved in saline) without the naloxone antagonizing it.

These pills have twice as much naloxone as suboxone.

Tilidine gets metabolized into nortilidine and this has a bioavailability of 99%.
You wouldnt get more out of it if you snort it.
Liquid tilidine on an empty stomach will give you a good rush.

And about 98% of the naloxone gets inactivated by the liver when taken orally
If you would snort it you would get the full dose. And the tilidine you ingested with it would have no effects.

Yes, 4mg of naloxone is A LOT!. A tenth of that can bring someone out of an overdose.

Alright that's what I needed to know. I guess that's why no one ever bothered trying it.

I thought naloxone would only fully antagonize an opioid when injected. Guess I was wrong.

yes, IV certainly has the highest BioAvailability, though it can be used in other ways. I'm pretty sure their is a narcane nasal pump even
