The chill of the cool breeze

Washing the shore clean
Sunset in my corner of the world
The light catches every colour
As the sky turns red and orange
The air around us is alive with energy
Hovering above the water ready to plunge
Down like night falls into the ocean below
And crashes slowly across the shore
The deep blue sky flickering with fireflies
I wouldn't trade this for anything more
