So I'm looking at buying T/Pihkal, but I see there's also T/Pihkal: The continuation as well. What's the difference between these books? Does the continuation have any extra information or is it just the 2nd half thats released online?

There's Pihkal: A Chemical Love Story, and Tihkal: The Continuation. The first one has the phenethlamine synths (you can read online) and the Shulgins' main story, the second has the tryptamine synths and a load of additional chapters that don't really follow a time line like the main story.

Both are good reads so I recommend you get both. Make sure you buy direct from Transform Press though as I believe more money will go to Sascha 's ongoing health care fund that way.

Just be thankful they're not banned here (yet) like they are in Australia :(

Pretty shite books really - just a succession of trip reports. Apparantly they arn't all even written by shulgin himself - some of them are from other people.

Agreed, toss em. We have megathreads for those kinda things anyway

You all realise there are actual stories that take up half of the physical books that aren't published on erowid right?

I was glad to read in them that I wasn't the only person to have "The spiral" thing happen when they went to sleep.
I never spoke about it before untill I read she had the same experience, kinda crazy but I had the same feeling on my first proper dxm dose too.
