Treatment Tick bite fever

Hey everyone. Im sick as a dog. I had an allergic reaction to the meds and got bad bump like rashes.

Currently jyst ryping is a mission. I have very bad ttemmers, cant evem eat with a fork ore knife. Its bad. Then there is thr cold sweats. I got back feom the doc today and told him my sumptoms and wanted to admit me. Cause my back looks like a war zone.

In pain, plus itching, fevers.

Not doing good.

So my apologies if im a little absent.
Butr really strugggling
 
right no apologies needed most of us been there --- Tick's are bad this yr I currently am observing a red circle hoping it doesn't get to the required "Go to the doctor" limits.

How long ago did you pull the tick off of you? Any idea how long it was there? I presume antibiotics are what you have; they make many ppl I'll to their stomach but you seem to be experiencing more than that...

What happened is we went on a hunying trip and the last night i got smashed and passex out in tthe bush. Im lucky i didnt get bitten by a snake, cause there were a lot of puff adders there. But back to story i passed in the bush and woke tje next morning early, went back to camp bit felt like shit, so wrotte it off as a hangover. Got home, had a shower and my nack was very itchy and when i looked in the mirror i just saw a lot of red spot.

Long story short went to the doc and said, yip you got tick bite fever amd i had to go back again today and wednesday to check for eggs, if maybe other insect or something bit and laid some. And true as bob. So had to some other steong anti biotics and the side are shit. But today he told its all clean but still having sides. I had to take umpaid sickleave.
Sorry if my story doeant make sense but my brain is so fuZy and finding it hard to concentrate. Not out the woods yet but bwtter then i was this whole week.

But was my own damn ass fault. So i have only myself to blame.

But having support helps. Like my mom went out her way to check up on me amd made sure i ate cause wednesday i had a drip cause inwas so dwhydrated from the sweating. Anyhow. Just wanna say thanks for the support

You’re making perfect sense. I understood every word… even the ones you didn’t say ;)

I’ve honestly never heard of ‘tick fever’ (though I know they can cause all kinds of nasty things). I can’t remember which part of the world you’re from.. South Africa… I think? Not sure what kinds of ticks you guys normally have to fight off… creepy little fuckers… here in eastern Canada it’s mostly deer ticks that do the most damage to people. Lyme disease. Yay…

I’m glad you have the support you need… thank god for mommas.

Sucks that the meds have been causing all kinds of extra difficulties. But very glad to hear the bite is clean.
Cold cloths, Gatorade, and soup. Make them your best friends lol

Don’t make the mistake of using ice packs for your fever like I’ve been making for my entire life until last year. All this time I thought ice packs helped fevers… not the case at all. Fridge temp is much better (you probably know this but I said it just in case 😅)

Get lots of rest and keep us updated. Take care!

Finally, semi decent nights rest. Smoked a lot of weed but had no cold sweats and mind feeling a lot more clear. Energy levels still.way down like a weak body but to be expected. Stomach is still going though, so gonna get some probiotics today and multi vit just for a extra boost.

Hope to be back to myself in the next day or 2.
