I'm wondering with recently starting testosterone, having hypothyroidism to begin with, being on Adderall for adhd, and being more active....if my thyroid levels are fixing themselves on their own. I take thyroid meds but the past few days I've had alot of heart palpitations, weight loss, and now I feel very, very warm. Could I be going into hyperthyroid, instead of hypo? I think I may stop taking my thyroid med tomorrow for a day or two to see if the symptoms go away. The only thing that really freaks me out is the heart palpitations.

Talk to a physician first. levothyroxine is not something you want to stop cold turkey.

Try eating more coconut (water, milk, oil, chips) as this helps support the thyroid...after eating coconut for many years it has stabilized my weight and given me a healthy metabolism.

oh and adderall will definitely increase hyperthyroidism, heart palpitations and weight loss and don't forget mental delusions...

All medications you get from a doctor have side effects that cost your body something in return...it might get cover up some symptoms but the dependency and deleterious affects only harm you more.

the courage and bravery to carry the health problems one chooses in their life only helps one to focus on the healing they want to accomplish while being human...

the only thing that surely heals is very simple and that is...

Love...love of the self and love of life...focus on the love and your body will mirror the love back...

peace be with you
