Throwing up on weed?

Just got done smoking some pot and I was doing A-okay... start smoking a ciggerete and my whole body starts shaking. I try to keep myself still and suddenly I start to feel the puke rise in my throat. I excuse myself outside and let it all out. Later when I had come back inside I felt like I had MAJOR MAJOR cramps... worse then cramps from hell. I thought my whole body was being ripped apart. My period isn't due for a while.. and I feel fine now. ( It's been about an hour ) Anyone know what was up?

My only advice is to try smoking less next time. I've definately seen friends experience the same thing
