Throw up right after taking hydrocodone? still effective?

Well Ive been feeling nauseous all day but I needed my hydrocodone high so I took my 50mgsand one got stuck in my throat so I gagged and 15 seconds later after swallowing them I fucking threw up! I couldn't tell if they were in the mess but u think I'll still be OK? Or I probably wasted them didn't I? Like I'm talking literally right after I took em I threw up so I'm probably fucked huh....never had this happen to me so idk
 
yeah, if they werent in your stomach for awhile, they dont have time to absorb, unfortunately, it seems like youre fucked
 
If I throw up within 45 mins, time for a re-dose.
Anti-nausea meds for those with weak stomachs.
 
Re-dosing after throwing up is VERY dangerous. Your stomach is bigger then you realize. When you vomit, most of the time only the top layer is purged but the pillsare heavy and will sink to the bottom of your stomach.
You should always wait an hour in this situation to see if the opiates come into effect at all.
 
On a good say when your well, hydrocodone probably will kick in very quickly but if your ill with a gastro-bug or something similar then your stomach will be trying N OT to absorb anything from the stomach contents.
When your body identifies the nasty bacteria in your gut, it isolates it by lowering absorbtion rates, then blasts it with high concentrations of acid and finally it purges the gut.
The important point here is that absorbtion rates in the gut are slowed, the gut is where the majority of opiates/oids are absorbed from.
Im not trying to say your completely wrong, after all you know your DOC and body better then me. Im just trying to play 'devils advocate' for the possible risks.lol

Man if you puked in 15 minutes you should've seen some white or something of color. If not and you had an empty stomach you got half the dose. I wouldn't recommend a CWE for you. You'll empty your stomach completely in one sip lol. Tell ya what, sip your drink don't swallow, put a dose or two and swallow and hurry with another sip. No more getting stuck and you will get to taking more at once. My missus taught me that.

Bunge knows a lot. I would take his advise about anything. I trust him with life threatening issues aswell because he knows the dangers of everything. I think me and him need to start an advice thread ;)

I cant say I get pills stuck that often (on average I have to take around 4 at a time), I must have a throat like a drain.lmao
300mg pregabalin capsules are one of the worst for sticking though, then they burst open halfway down your throat and your burping pregab powder all night! :-(

As you Ben I've only recently just recently started with the gabapentin Neurotin. Haven't had on get stuck but they taste a mess! Try getting a 7.5/750 Vicodin caught in your throat mate. Even someone without a gag reflex couldnt hold it back I bet you. Ugh makes me sick just thinking about the last time.. I puked up 3-4 on the ground in the dirt an I just stopped and looked down at these half dissolved vics debating whether or not to hurry and power them down. In the end I rubbed 15$ into the ground to get rid of the evidence haha.

Well can't babble all day mate got a Dr's in an hourso me and the missus are getting ready. Gotta try and get off these bloody vic 10s and on to something like percocet!

Chance of getting a vicodin stuck would be nice mate. Cant get hydrocodone full stop.lol
Ive get some orthopedic specialist appt to go to and then the GPs talking about switching me up to morphine as the DHC just isnt cutting it anymore, so I know how you feel with needing the percs.
