Throw up but pills didnt come up

About a few minutes after taking 4 percs I got really nauseated and thankfully I made it to the toilet when I threw up no pills came up and im wondering how they didn't. Did they dissolve after such a short time? Are they still In my stomach? Just water came up it tasted like chemicals but I also took 1 perc about an hour ago so It could be from that I was drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes which is why I thought I puked..im just wondering wether the pills were wasted or not..Any input would be much appreciated thanks!... (sorry for my horrendous punctuation lol)

most percocets are made to disintegrate pretty quickly so they get absorbed in the stomach rapidly.

Some of it wouldn't have absorbed yet so you probably wasted a bit at least
