Throw away pills?

I was wondering, do you have to dispose of pills after you test them. are the reagents safe enough, or a small enough quanity, to ingest. thinking of buying a kit soon, and would just like to know.

you need such a small amount of the pill that you shouldn't worry about it. Even if you were desperate enough to injest it after testing, you would notice no difference.

you have to scrape off a little bit from the pill and then put the liquid on the scraping. you do not have to apply the liquid onto the whole pill! also,
please do not ingest any of the liquid as it contains some nasty chemicals.
