Bluelighter
I saw a bruised sky,
tainted with the rage of a dying Earth.
I heard the weeping of entombed bodies
in every one of my breaths.
An angel fell and broke her wings,
she is still in ecstasy, unknowingly.
I have spoken the eulogy of my beloved,
forever alive, but elsewhere.
I smelled the odor of something decaying,
no, of something not yet dead.
I then tasted sweetness in my mouth,
like candy to a child.
I was there, in that moment
lost in Heaven.
tainted with the rage of a dying Earth.
I heard the weeping of entombed bodies
in every one of my breaths.
An angel fell and broke her wings,
she is still in ecstasy, unknowingly.
I have spoken the eulogy of my beloved,
forever alive, but elsewhere.
I smelled the odor of something decaying,
no, of something not yet dead.
I then tasted sweetness in my mouth,
like candy to a child.
I was there, in that moment
lost in Heaven.
