Throat Culture

It probably depends on what is tested for. Theoretically a throat culture could pick up drugs or drug metabolites, but usually with a culture you're looking for a pathogenic microorganism. Interesting question though. Anyone else have another take on this?

thanks for the input!

I know they are testing for strep throat and similar afflictions, but i'm sure other things as well. This is after goin to a dr. with complaints of a painful throat, especially when swallowing.

Anyone else?

I would guess they are only interested in pathogens with a throat culture.

The medical profession on the whole don't care about your recreational drug consumption, you don't tell they're not gong to ask. Similarily they don't look for drug metabolites unless there is a specific reason.

Paranoid?

They are of course stealing your DNA in order to clone a new better you. :)

yea i wouldnt worry about drug tests...its the just bacteria the dr is after. unless like vecktor said and they really are stealing DNA to make clones
