Stimulants Thoughts on Concerta??

Whats up??
I dont even know if its classified as an amphetamine. Please correct me if im wrong. My lil bro gets 27mg concerta and i was thinking on taking 1 or 2. Is it at all like adderall? because thats like the only stimulant (besides coke%)) type prescription drug i ever took, took it at my last job and i got everything done and then some . But i was wondering if its anything like that or would it be like a high or what?..a high would work but im just not tryna be all geeked up all night8( , i was going to take it around 4pm..any kind of info or experience would help. Thanks my favorite people

Concerta is extended-release methylphenidate. Do not take this at 4pm and then expect to be able to sleep. It is designed to be taken in the morning (it will last all day).

I hope your brother has offered these to you and is old enough to make a decision like that for himself. If not, please don't steal your little bro's meds, or take them if offered and he is not an adult. 27mg is a pretty low dose so I doubt he's terribly old. I'm not accusing you, just making sure because you're post didn't specify.

Methylphenidate is a stimulant with similarities to other stimulants of abuse. Have you taken Ritalin? Concerta and Ritalin are the same chemical. Yes, it is recreational, though Concerta is probably the least recreational preparation of Methylphenidate.

Don't take people's medications without getting their permission at the very least.

Methylphenidate is a stimulant, but many people don't find it as "likeable" as amphetamine. It's more like super caffeine.
