And I know
It has been all too beautiful
All of who know
I had been but I noticed all that was
So I’ll swallow my own
Pride, fear, angst and strife
Just to be down lower than before
And I long to be more
Than those who swore they’d never
But they always did

So maybe we do
What necessity told us to?
Never thought we would
But reasoning always could
Bring us around
There we're faced with the
Hole we dug let us not dig
Ourselves down again

Again, and again I spend my days
Dreaming
Then the daze wakes me
I’m taking myself back
To when I was more than,
More than a when, because I was
More than ever more

More over I was what I wanted most
More than ever before
That was the best I chose from life.
Be it, may it, perhaps we might see
Then maybe we will believe
We are more than
If more when
We become
What we want most

Of the most of what we
Want to be
Lost in thoughts of randomness
Randomly expressed
Thoughts of those minds
Who are never heard
Thoughts of the unprepared
These thoughts
Of those impaired

I really like this piece. Something about it gripped me and made me want to read it. Great writing.

^i agree. you seem to have an " old mind". only meaning that you can put alot about life into perspective so very well, for being so very young.

TC agreed, i think i have said " old soul" once in regards to his writting.

Definately gripping and a great piece :)

*Big Hugs* :)

I agree with cherub and tc. Your poems are enticing and offer your readers great insight. I always have to read your poems twice to fully understand what you are trying to tell me. You have a great style; I love it. Keep up the good work!

(P.S. I hope you are studying creative writing or something along those lines in school?)
