Thoughts concerning suboxone/DOC shuffle...and why I am ending it

So I do the suboxone thing when I need it and do my DOC(more often the DOC, then typically 1-3 days a week of subs, sometimes get by a week w/o it) you know the way all the people who use, used, or want to use it for recovery get angry about.

Now I usually only wait about 12 hours, sometimes less and most usually not more, 14 would be tops i'd say. Except the very first time I waited like 22 hours. Never got precipitated w/d. Have noticed times where I maybe felt a little worse for 1-2 hours then I felt good to go, very mild w/d symptoms at that point. I have switched now about 20 times. But its1/2&1/2 between different DOCs because mine changed like so many's do due to money issues.

It seems the last 4 times the Subs just are not doing as much for me, and I have tried upping the dose in accordance with my tolerance (probably more) with no positive results. Its kind of like when I take it at the 12 hour mark, it does nothing or very little, BUT it doesn't get worse throughout the day, just holds me in a state of early w/d's. So any thoughts on this, personal experiences or suggestions? Also I will add that m stomach is a wreck on Subs, I can barely eat. I have heard to spit the saliva instead of swallowing to help with this? But it seems more like the stomach pains from w/d, so I think the subs just don't act on the receptors that settle your stomach.

With all that being said, I am confident the week after next I am switching over to Subs fulltime and that is that. Naturally my insurance has been a nuisance regarding the issue, so I have to wait until it gets settled to see a MD again to make sure I can keep getting the Subs at a reasonable price. I will get my last big paycheck next week, before bills come in and I can't do it any longer. So I"m going to go out on a high note (pun intended) with next weeks appx 80 hours of pay(well about 53 straight and 18 @ x1.5). Then maybe I can focus on getting the job I desire that requires passing a hair follicle test (damn the inventor of that blasted thing).

this seems to happen to (some?) people when they get in the habit of rapidly switching back and forth between their DOC and suboxone. my girl did the same thing for a long time and it finally caught up to her... it gets more and more difficult to make the switch and now it seems that she can't induct onto subs at any point before basically being almost all the way through WDs without invoking precips and now she has to take methadone for maintenance. my suggestion is to lay off the rapid cycling of subs and your DOC and hold onto them till you're ready to detox for good. if you need something easy and cheap to carry you when your DOC is not available, maybe try kratom?
