I've tried the tablets and the soft gel tablet. Originally I used the tablets to replace prescription antidepressant and antipsychotic medications I was taking, successfully I might add. Nowadays I take a couple or three tablets for maintenance. Not long ago, I took 3 tablets and 1 soft gel, about 3 months after stopping the antipsychotic I was on.

It took nearly 3 hours before I noticed anything, I was about to write the whole thing off as another no-show, however, once it kicked in I had visuals for what seemed like 3 hours or so. Not at all disappointed.

I liked 4-HO-MET when I tried it - I am grateful for the experience but the taste was terrible. What I had were these hard “gummies” that I sucked on like lozenges until they were gone. I mostly experienced some body “energy” and some color vibrancy / shine - like a micro of psilocybe. I didn’t know it at the time but in hindsight, it felt a lot like 5-MeO-MIPT in my body but it was DEFINITELY Metocin.

It was nice to try something new, but it isn’t something I personally would seek out. I much prefer lysergamides (privately) and phenethylamines (socially).

Good on you for working your way off the anti-meds.

Psilocins mischievous cousin.

I affectionately call it disco shrooms. The lighter headspace and additional stimulstion makes it great for social events, it's my go to for concerts.

The visuals have a darker and somewhat artificial edge to them. Comparing the OEV to shrooms or 4-aco-dmt I like the analogy of two ostensibly stained glass windows but the 4-ho-met one is made out of plastic. I've also found the CEV to be somewhat eldric, it's not a drug I like closing my eyes on.

Far less therapeutic potential compared to 4-aco-dmt in my experience, but usually a lot more fun.

I find metocin to be good for partying or adding visuals on things, but I consider metocin (as well as ethocin) two of the most useless psychedelics I've come upon in my life. It can be fun if you want to avoid introspection or an enhanced headspace whatsoever. The visuals are sort of "cartoonish" and "artificial" seeming to me, in a way that's more similar to 25B-NBOMe/25B-NBOH/Psilocybin containing fungi than it is to any other psychedelic, at least for me. Therapeutically I consider metocin virtually useless, though in combination with other psychedelics it can add quite a nice edge. I've taken it as both pure crystal as well as some pressed tablets that I was testing for a local friend who owns a smokeshop, and while both worked just fine, the body feel was at least pretty nice, though both metocin and ethocin were nothing when compared to other 4-substituted tryptamines I've used (miprocin, psilocybin containing fungi (especially Panaeolus cyanescens), psilacetin, and 4-PrO-DMT).
