The Goodies was also one of the best.

btw, for anyone wondering about it's a knockout (probably my favourite show as a child), for some reason channel ten has the rights to re-runs but refuses to show them

there was a site around a couple of years ago (it probably still exists...google it) that had sound clips and very short videos, along with a large petition trying to get it back on air.

as far as i'm aware though, they never succeeded. down with channel ten! i bet they hate jews too!

With out a doubt the best old show of all time was Bonanza, they used to have a Bonanza BONANZA, 5 episodes in a row, I used to sit there and watch them all religously even if they were repeats to me..........aaahhh the memories

It looks like the ABC afternoon schedule had a big influence on alot of ppl here. Does anyone remember that british sitcom about the robot living with a family? Metal Mickey or something? I've got some pretty crazy memories of stuff I saw on ABC in the eighties :D

I saw the goodies on foxtel the other night, and i was thinking if i was stoned it would be an absolute riot

I missed the first half, but they were basically having a musical instrument war.....like the goodies had a tuba, and they lit the mouthpiece and fired a cannon out the other end. Then their nemisis comes over the hill sitting down playing an organ, and when he's within range the organ pipes fold forward and it becomes like a tank....and he fires shells out the organ pipes....

Then the goodies strike back with violins, using them like a bow & arrow....it was damn trippy and i was completely sober!
