those old television shows you used to love

I don't know if anyone remembers this show. It was a pretty grose show on ABC called 'Let the Blood Run Free'. I must have been about 13-14 when it was on and I thought it was the funniest - and most wrong - show on telly.

"Hunter" on abc on weekday mornings.

Yes that's right, the strange man with a moustache and his computer cat CC.

Knight Rider
The A-Team
Sliders
Seaquest DSV
MacGyver
Astroboy
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Transformers
Beyond 2000
The Late Show
Ghostbusters the cartoon
Bettlejuice the cartoon

Hehehe i used to love that show! I can still remember the theme music...and he rode a red bike and had a mouse which rode on the back in a clear box.

SPELLBINDER

Educating Marmalade - I can't belive nobody mentioned it! The one with the punk british kid who went to school with nuns, and always cause trouble for them.
T-bag - What a ludicrous storyline, collecting clocks to save the world or something? With her stupid kid sidekick T-Shirt!
Tales from Fat Tulip's Garden - Was this the one where Baldrick told tales of greek myths?

Press Gang, Grange Hill... and pretty much anything on Saturday/Sunday morning on ABC or weekday afternoons on ABC, especially the ones with magic or science(fiction) :)

X-Men, Spiderman cartoons only :p

My all time fave kids show: SPELLBINDER (original) and Spellbinder 2: Land of the Dragonlord I loved Riana! Paul and his sister were dorks. Ashka was an awesome evil bitch. I wanted to stab that little kid DragonLord. I used to race to get home before 4pm so I could pull a cone and get engrossed in the alternate dimensionl storylines 8o wish this one made it to DVD hehe.

The real hero Riana, Paul in a Spellbinder suit, the evil Ashka:

not sure if it fits in, but i LOVED Full Frontal funniest show ever !!!

Star Blazers and Battle of the Planets were the best cartoons in living history. Nothing has topped them since.

All, and I do mean every fucking one of the ABC cartoons and programmes already mentioned from the early 80s to the early 90's were religiously viewed by me so I've nothing to add except MOST OF THE ABOVE... but holy shit: Star Blazers!

Thankyou ozbreaker, for years I've been trying to remember the name of this show "remember the one where theres these japanese cartoon types flying around in a battleship and whenever they go into warp they pass out", and people would go yeah yeah... no I don't remember what it was called either. Star Blazers!! The moment I read that I knew that was it. Not a fanatic or anything honest but I really loved that show. As with Monkey Magic, Ulysses 31, astroboy, cities of gold, danger mouse, banana man, rojer ramjet, the goodies, dr who, secret valley, G-force (wait that's called something else too) Press Gang, Degrassi, grange Hill, yeah all that crap.

Defining moments: when the kid in grange hill ODd on heroin I thought "cool".

^^^^ !!!!!!! seriosuly id forgotten al about secret valley until now. used to watch that too

Defining Moments - Degrassi

Defining Moments in degrassi Junior(?) High Funnily enough the two moments I can recall best relate to SEX, DRUGS and ROCK N ROLL!
-Shane takes LSD at a concert, and jumps from some height thinking he can fly. Busts his head, and gets some brain damage! Then Spike won't let him see their baby and he yells at her "Y-y-you sh-sh-should be kicked in the head!" Hahah!
-The other moment I loved was when Wheels buys condoms for his date with Stephanie (she was hot stuff!), gets to her door and finds her father is the pharmacist that sold him the dingers! Hahaha!

*gleep chants* All the way with Stephanie Kay =D

BTW, I just noticed most of the actors in Degrassi began in Kids of Degrassi Street, went to Degrassi Junior High and finally Degrassi High... But then never acted again. Odd that. Why?

^^ I think because they sucked ;)

That, or they were so corrupted by the storylines they all got into drugs and became happy enough never to do anything else constructive.

The girl from Press Gang went on to being Saffie in Absolutely Fabulous and Spike from Press Gang had a bit of a roll in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. I guess those Degrassi Kids were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

It's a fair mention to put the trap door in here now, clearly play-doh and television are a combination of intelligent proportions.

i also remember let the blood run free, interactive television in it's earliest form, though i never rang in to vote for the ending. (I could be wrong, but i'm sure that was the one you rang in for the choose the ending in the next week's episode)
