Old Skool T.V Shows In Aus...

Hey Hey Peoples, It's Chicken Boy Again (Hmmm, Should Signed up as that)....

Remember All those tv shows you used too rush home as a kid to Watch?

I remember this one where it was all about a bus, or car or something, and parallel Universes that all revolved around a bunch of Babies that lived on the moon.It was an aussie show and I could be wrong but I think it had con the fruiterer in it...

I also used to rush home and watch Gummy Bears (Bouncing Here And There And Everywhere), Bold & The Beautiful (shaddup lol), I'm sure there were a HEAP of others, so please list all your fav's... The show's that you ran home to see...

Vidiot,
Peter Russel Clarks Cooking show (it was on inbetween other shows)
there was a show that was made in Sydney that was similar to Sliders (it had a parallel universe and an evil girl with orange hair named Yanka or something) and the boy got sent to their universe... it was good!

Wayne's Manifesto (it had Bronson from the original Round The Twist series)
Ship To Shore
Round The Twist (original two seasons)
Recovery (on weekends)

all aussie, all good!

except I thought that Tunny was a bit of a wank on ABC in the arvos

Hey Hey It's Saturday!!

Man, when I came on holiday here in Aus when I lived in Denmark, and found out it was long gone, I nearly cried :(

Oh

Don't forget your toothbrush!

And what was that show where the intro was of a house and then the title came up in light blue letters and Meatloaf starred in it?

ahhh round the twist was great!

puddle lane, i can only just remember it but there was a dragon and a wizard. i think.

and mulligrubs, though the freaky face thing scared me.

i remember on the abc they used to do little animations to popular songs, and i remember when i was really little they had one for that 'on top of spaghetti, all covered in cheese, i lost my poor meatball when somebody sneezed' song, and i was incredibly upset at the end where the meatball got smushed under the bush. my mother had no idea what was wrong with me, crying inconsolably, occasionally managing to sob 'meatball...' or 'smushed'

edit- no, i hated pingu. it was on just before gumby and gumby was my favourite and you had to wait til stupid pingu was over til it was on. also the blockheads in gumby scared the shit out of me.

seems like i had a hard time distinguishing tv from real life for a bit there.

OMFG YES Joannie... Puddle Lane!!!! The wierd English Wizzard that lives' in a lane, and does' wierd stuff in a puddle with his wand... that ROCKED...
What about.... That's An Art Attack...

Pingu was great. I remember an episode where something bad happened to him and he couldn't cope, so he went to the pub and got blind drunk and staggered home falling over as he went.

I remember when i was young, tuesday nights were the nights for 'The Bill Cosby Show'. My family would sit around watching while eating fish and chips, every tuesday. Family tradition.

Roger Ramjet
Captain Planet
Gumby
Pink Panther
Mulligrubs
Power Rangers
Postman Pat

I too, was and still am addicted to: the Bold and the Beautiful

Pingu was the best show too, so cute..

Round the Twist I vaguely remember...

Agro's Cartoon Connection I was awake at like the crack of dawn for...

Saturday Disney in like 1993...before it got crappy

The Looney Tunes show too...

Degrassi High (the old version)

the Wonder Years...

TV was good quality a few years ago..>WTF HAPPENED

was art attack where they had the GIANT pages of paper on the floor to do art on?

i cant belive no one's mentioned play school. has to be the old school noni and john days but, none of these tools they have these days.

hahaha, yeah they did wierd stuff on art attack... It all ROCKED back in the old days... GO KIDS TV OF YESTERYEAR...

Degrassi high? THe original was in england right? With Spike and that geeky girl???

fatz are you thinking of press gang? they were at a school and all worked for the school newspaper? they were all english but spike was american, and the geeky girl was played by the chick who does saffy in absolutely fabulous

man, for an eight year old girl (or however old i was whenever it was on) spike was the hawtness. the accent, the floppy droopy hair, the kooky shirts he used to wear. hot.

I hated press gang.

Loved Degrassi High though. Damn Caitlin and Spike were cute.

Who could forget Joey, Wheels and his band (The Zit Pack?)

Oh so many life lessons taught in that show.

^^^ noooooooooo the zit remedy silly!

ever since mobile ringtones came about i've been wishing i could get their one and only hit 'everybody wants something' as my ringtone. if anyone knows where i can, or is cool and can program it for me, i'd love them forever and maybe trade sexual favours for it.
