So you are saying that having a Trip Reports forum discredits us from being a harm reduction forum? There are some social forums here to help with the community aspect of the site. Some are more HR based than others, and are here to keep people from getting bored of the same old threads and leaving. I think that trip reports are helpful so that a person knows the effects of the drugs that they are going to take, and the dosages that are safe to take. If they are planning on taking a drug and were going to take 200mg of it for example, and then read a trip report in which a person says they took 200mg and it was way too much and caused them harm, then the person researching the drug will know to take less.
You started a thread about Valium and asked what it feels like. Wouldn't reading a trip report about Valium give you that information, as well as the dosages that cause the particular effects? The problem with that thread was that you seemed to be asking about a drug that you don't have in your possession, and we don't suggest drugs for you to go out and get high on. If you had said that you had some Valium in your possession that you wished to take, and you wanted to know a safe starting dosage, it wouldn't have been closed as fast, and you would have received some answers. Secondly it's a very common question that you could find the answer to by using either one of the search engines on the top right of the page, so you could still find your answers by searching. We also have a
Wiki forum which has drug FAQs which have basic information on drugs such as dosages, effects, etc, so there are a number of ways that you can use the site to find your answers without even having to start threads.
As for the DXM thread, again we aren't here to recommend drugs to you. If you had some DXM on you and were set on taking it and wanted to know a safe dosage as well as the safest products to take that have DXM as the active ingredient, you would have been given that answer. It's been answered plenty of times, so this too could have been answered by a quick search.
If you have a problem with your threads being closed then you can PM the moderator that closed it, and discuss re-opening it. The purpose of harm reduction is to reduce harm when a person has drugs in their possession that they are going to take. It doesn't mean recommending drugs for a person to get high on.
Lastly, if you don't like this website you can simply not come here instead of starting a thread complaining about the site. We have close to 100 people registering here each day, so not everybody is going to like the site, and we can't please everyone. We operate in a particular way that we see fit in terms of reducing harm. Some people like it, and others don't. If you are one of the people that don't, then nobody is forcing you to come here.
