Ok, I'm not very good at UsingTFSE yet, so sorry.

I would like to know if anyone here had their first ever acid trip on their own because this is what I'm thinking of doing... well... with my dog, of course.
I've tripped alone before on malarky like mushrooms and 2C-I and whatnot and enjoyed these very much, with no worries about having to bother about taking care of other people or having to act according to them. I always feel I can unwind better and be more relaxed on my own, perhaps due to my only child status, who knows? (Set and setting taken into account of course)
I am not scared, just making sure to be cautious not to make silly scary mistakes. (My friend shouted at me and told me I was stupid for wanting to try it on my own but he's not like me).
So, has anyone else done it this way? What do you have to say about it?

if your fine with the others then there shouldnt be much of a problem, just remember it lasts much longer than mushrooms.
 
well i always thought mushrooms didn't last long enough anyway....

but perhaps it's better for your trip to end before you're bored of it, so you don't end up wishing you were out of it.
 
The last few hours of an acid trip are pretty mellow, in my opinion. Pretty easy to just go about whatever you would normally do, with a bit of giggles. Sometimes, I will trip hard in little 'waves' near the end, especially if I smoke weed. If you're good with mushrooms, you ought to be just fine tripping alone on LSD, though there is no reason you can't call up a friend after you're done with the more immersive part of the experience. My personal recommendation for the tail end of a trip is to smoke a couple of bowls (if you're into that) and do whatever creative/hobby it is you like to do sober. I always end up approaching it from a different angle, and I always end up having a blast.
 
i tripped on acid the first time by myself and it wasnt a problem at all. if your comfortable on your own you shouldnt worry one bit.
