please dont flame too much as i do realize i am asking a ridiculous question.

so i dont have the spare time that it takes to make cannabutter. so if one was to say, smoke a bong filled with melted butter or something instead of water, would the THC mostly stick to the butter or oil down there?

I would highly suggest against doing that. One reason is because I don't think very much thc (if any..) would be absorbed by the fat. Also whatever you would cook with that would taste like absolute shit.
