yup. Its all gravel on the inside. But we both used to play there as kids, just not together. lol
So its kinda a special place for the both of us.
There is a creek that flows just below the stairs. We have a bridge that crosses it.

every year, the town i live in hosts what they call the balloonfest where hot air balloons have a target race (they race for speed, but also try to drop big ole bean bags on targets), they have a balloon glow at night where they flame up and make the balloons glow essentially. and lots of other things, well they also happen to fly over our house. the coolest thing is that they'll sometimes fly so low that you can talk to the pilots with a normal speaking voice and occasionally they'll land in our yard (with our permission). if you have a sheet laying in your yard it's the universal code for "my yard is ok for you to land in."

also... i live by a curve that MANY a teenager takes too fast in their car, my house has been struck by cars in the past and i've seen my share of cars flipped over in my lawn. :D

Sweet P- Your place looks awesome! :)

Thanks... I haven't shown much cos I don't want my house to be identifiable, but I live in one of those new suburbs where every house looks the same, so I guess it wouldn't matter if I did. :p

3-D phone-cam FTW! ;)

haha, actually: I took two film images, developed them and printed them, then scanned them and edited the two separate images in PhotoShop to achieve the blue and red layers...

just a little more work than a 3D option on my camera! :p

Here's our house <3
Front (note: the tree looks a lot better in summer when it's in full bloom!)

Note: We live in Sydney Australia so the fact that there is a layer of ice on the ground in the second pic is a complete FREAK occurance!!! It never looks like that, ever!! It was after a massive hailstorm last October, very freaky weather. This was the only photo I could find of the backyard though, so use your imagination ;)

But our humble abode can't compete with the likes of some of the gorgeous properties on here (*ahem* ryan and PI, I am looking in your direction ;)), so here are some photos of my parents farm, where I grew up (and where they still live) <3

Damn, everyone has such nice places while I'm stuck in the sprawling awfulness of suburbia! :p

^ don't get me wrong, i LOVE living in a rural area, but there are times while growing up that i wished i lived in suburbia! i'm kind of a loner because i had nobody my age living within miles of me when i was younger.

^^ I was potentially in the same situation, we were miles from any other families with kids growing up. My parents combatted that problem by having 5 children, so we were each other's friends.

/BradyBunch 8) =D

Very nice places guys, I'm whole heartidly jeleous. Most people consider me a nature man, but I'm definatly in like with big cities. I'd go crazy without the absurdity and choas of polluted human traffic.

When I retire I will definately be buying a place way up in the mountains. So remote that I won't even be able to use anything but a satellite phone. There ya go. :)

I needed to take pics to sell my car.
Our house is in the background. A big place for just the 2 of us.
