It's kinda counter productive to harm reduction to call something harmless when it clearly isn't. Ld50 (which is tested in rats in a lab by the way) is calculating when it makes your body shut down, you can overdose and die because the x made you dehydrated and be under the ld50, did you even read my post or just the last part?
And how you use the term ld50 shows you clearly don't have a good understanding on what it means.
And don't get me wrong, I know it's not as harmful as the media makes it out to be, but it's really bad that everytime a person is reported to have died from taking ecstasy people come to the drugs defense and say what the person "actually died from.". Yea it was dehydration/electrolyte imbalance whatever, but the fact is that if this girl at edc (or any othe od) hadn't taken too much of the drug they'd still be alive, regardless of whether or not their peak plasma levels were at the ld50 or not, the drug caused the death. People defending ecstasy so blindly like that is why so many little kids think they're invincible and end up dying.
There's a lot of misinformation on both sides, while the anti drug side striaght up lies, the ecstasy community just believes any falacy that supports thier argument without really giving it much thought, which can be just as harmful. I do use ecstasy and it can be used safely, I just think it's important that people know what can happen to them if they're not smart about it.
