What in the world happened????????

 

I'm guessing opiate OD. I hope he's okay.

 

A friend and fellow BL'er overdosed from a speedball on my sofa Friday morning he will be ok. The paramedics say that he was momentarily dead. He was given narcan, resuscitated, taken to the hospital and released.

Will be posting details later so that I never forget the emotions. This has impacted me

 

OD- I am sorry this happened.
I am sure it is a very hard things to see.....and it takes time to fully realize the impact that this type of thing can have on your head........
Try to stay positive and support your friend.....Have you talked to him yet? Has this scared him? Maybe he can join you in your recovery process?
I am glad you are getting help next week and hope that (though this sounds harsh, I'm not sure how else to say it) you will take this as a lesson learned.......

Sadly it often takes something this drastic to wake people the fuck up so i hope for your friend that did it to him. Im glad it woke you up to the dangers this shit carries with it as well.

I really hope it works out for the BLer in question and that this was a wakeup call in more ways then one. I also hope that you manage to be done with the drugs yourself.
