I smoke marijuana daily
i take paxil for panic disorder ( where there is no cause or reason for it )
dabble in pills ( 40 mg oxy at most )

now ive heard people say pot freaks out more people than lsd...

Ive had like 3-4 bad highs on pot but it would never stop me from doing it again

basically im asking....is the feeling it similar to pot without being super trippy visual...and the euphoria of oxy?

The short answer is "no." If you've never taken any psychedelics, LSD will be unlike anything you've ever encountered. Start low and make sure you're in a familiar and comfortable setting.

The long answer is that very high doses of weed are definitely mildly psychedelic (I mean, passing out, about to puke your guts out quantities of weed), but don't expect this to have prepared you fully for even a light trip.

LSD will change your life. In my opinion for the better.
If you don't have a panic disorder don't take paxil. If you do, don't take LSD, it could ruin you.

I think this is true in the sense that weed pushes a lot of people (such as myself) in a negative direction whereas lsd is more neutral.

However, lsd is infinitely more capable of mind raping you. IME when lsd goes bad it can go very bad very quickly to an extent that makes bad experiences with weed seem like nothing (at least when smoked)

yeah^ agreed. Also dont mix pot with it on your first time. trust me weed and psychedelics can be very unpleasant despite what some people on this board will tell you.

for me psychedelics are kind of blissfull at moderate doses in the right setting but add weed and it all goes anxious, and i enjoy weed on its own quite a lot

If your a vet smoker, dont smoke until the comedown, trust me you dont want to smoke before you peak or the acid will kick into something you never thought possible!!!! Good luck for your trip and dont forget to write a report when your done! Also, take half a tab first to figure out the dose and what your comfortable with, remember more is less!

I agree with shwagg, LSD certainly has the potential to change your life. If you're an inquisitive, analytical individual and you're taking the substance to explore your own mind, and, indeed, reality in general, you might be very shocked by what you discover during an LSD trip. Remember, LSD is exceptionally powerful and can destroy you if you have neurotic and/or psychotic tendencies.

I personally would not mix paroxetine with any illegal or legal recreational drug, especially something as serious as LSD. If paroxetine is helping you in your daily life, I would advise you to refrain from using LSD. Psychiatrists typically deplore patients who are using hardcore street drugs whilst being prescribed psychiatric medications, and for good reason.

but panic and depression are 2 seperate classes of things

i wouldnt tell a depressed person to do alot of drugs

but im not depressed...i just get random ass panic attacks...

basically yes i am a vet...everyday smoker...been to the highest mountain and back...

snort 30mg oxy

dabbled in kratom for a while (uei)

all this on paxil...the reason psychiatrists rule against it is like why cops say pot is bad...in their line of work they have to say it even though they may not truly believe it

btw...im stoned right now......took me forever to type this

LSD is a psychedelic, unlike Oxycodone which is an Opiate. In my experience, LSD does not have a sense of euphoria like pills do. It's more neutral, but when you are having an amazing trip, well, you feel amazing and feel a natural high, a natural euphoria that comes with such positive thoughts and feelings.

Many people, including myself, find smoking Cannabis on LSD to be a little hectic. It can make you trip so much harder, and can sometimes cause you to become anxious, and uneasy due to Cannabis's infamous effect of causing paranoia. This, coupled with the mindfuck that is LSD, can cause you to have a bad time. Not that you can't smoke and have a good time, you certainly can, I just highly recommend smoking an hour after the peak, when you are coming down. Me and my buddies love to smoke a blunt after a trip. It brings us back up a little, but doesn't make us freak out like it would if we were peaking.

If you've never taken Psychedelics before, you are in for a ride. Start low. LSD is a drug that at low doses can make you forget you even took anything. The first time I tripped, was on one single blotter, probably around 75mcg, and at times it felt like I wasn't on anything, but then I realized "Oh wait, I am in fact tripping a little". It's best to start with an experience like this, just to get the lay of the land of what a psychedelic experience has to offer you. If you enjoyed it, and want more, then you can experiment with heavier doses. I strongly advise you never dose more than double what you are use to. For example, if you enjoy taking 3 doses at once and want to dose on a higher amount next time, I wouldn't recommend taking more than 5 or 6 doses. Also, keep in mind, doses vary in Mcg. So, if you like Blotter A because it only requires 2 tabs to reach that perfect feeling, you may not like Blotter B because it's weaker and requires up to 5 tabs to reach the same feeling.

Just be safe, and be comfortable. Do it in a small group, no more than 3 or 4 people who you trust and know will be able to help you if need be. Give yourself a window of 10 hours from the time you dose. Trips can last up to and over 14 hours at higher doses, but if you are dosing on a tab or two, even 3 or 4, it will most likely only last a few hours, more along the lines of 7 or 8 from start to finish, depending of course on the potency of the doses.

^^Helpful post, thanks!

Surely cannabis has some sort of euphoric quality to it for you, right? Or at the least it has the ability to make you more easy going and make things more funny, and thus make you laugh more (when it isn't being anxiogenic).

Do you find LSD to have any of these same properties?

I don't personally find Cannabis to be euphoric. When I think of euphoria, I think of Opiates or Mdma. Cannabis to me, is actually just a relaxant. It can often make me feel uneasy, not paranoid but just uneasy. This is why I like smoking by myself nowadays. It's effects are really quite anti-social, despite the huge social aspect of smoking with friends. This is why I don't really recommend smoking while tripping, unless of course you are alone, then you can just relax and think to yourself while you get high. Its as though both extreme ends of the emotional spectrum are coupled into this one chemical, capable of bringing out one or the other depending on mindset, and setting.

LSD is a light feeling. It's not euphoric in the sense of "Wow, I feel amazing right now", but more along the lines of you coming to so many realizations and feeling great about them. Also, it makes you giddy in the sense that every thing is silly when broken down in the mind through complex thought. It can also be the opposite, terrifying in that every thing can be pointless and disgusting because of over analyzation coupled with anxiety and feeling a loss of ego.

Ok, that makes a lot of sense. I know the opiate high and, no, weed isn't at all comparable. What weed brings, for me anyway, seems to be what most people feel naturally when they socialize with friends. Something I don't seem very able to experience when not stoned. That, and the fact that it just makes everything great and funny.

But yeah, I didn't mean euphoric like oxycodone makes you feel. Thanks for the clarificaiton

If you are taking Paxil for panic attacks - You may want to be especially careful and dose low with LSD. It can create panic attacks in the future or reminders of trips that could induce them as well.

Make sure you are in a very comfortable environment, where you will feel at peace - and hopefully get a sitter (a good mentally stable, understanding person who stays balanced and calm. This trip could definitely help you overcome some of your panic attacks and PTSD?, or it could make it worse if it was in a bad situation.

A good tip for being with multiple people tripping, is to keep even numbers up to 5 people. If there are 3 people, at times its possible for one person to feel left out, it's always good to have a steady ratio of [people : people] until you reach about 5 people in a group. Doesn't always matter, but its a good way to ensure a good time.

If you go for it, go have a wonderful time, and reaffirm this going in to the trip...
