Thinking about mixing Hydrocodone and Tramadol

Hey, everyone. I only have 10mg left of hydrocodone, and the usual dosage I take to feel good is about 15-20. (I have a low tolerance, obviously! lol.) But 10mg of hydrocodone doesn't do anything to me anymore.. so I was thinking about taking either 50mg or 100mg of tramadol to go with it? The hydrocodone's are the acetaminophen/hydrocodone 500 mg / 5mg and the tramadol - 50mg hcl. Would would be a safe dosing? Also, should I take the hydro first or tramadol? Any answers are appreciates :)

Well the tramadol won't give you much euphoria at all its not that kind of a drug the recreational value of it is almost non existent it don't get you high even in large doses. It will give better pain relief when mixed with the hydro it will be good If you have a sore back or something but as for getting high it won't be too great.
If your gonna take the tramadol with it then make sure not to take anymore then 300 mabye 400mgs of tramadol. It lowers the seizure threshold and can cause seizures in otherwise healthy individuals.
It doesn't really matter what order you take em in :)
I really got to stress not to try to get high on the tramadol its not meant for that its good for headaches back aches, and depression but not for getting high its dangerous to do so many people have died from seizures while on tramadol you just don't see it coming.
Sorry I know you want to get high but its not really possible with the drugs you got.
Mabye try smoking a joint with the hydro that always intensified opiates for me.
Tramadol is not a typical opiate its very weak but its unique in the way it works on your serotonin levels to increase them which makes it a good anti depressant but also has similar withdrawal symptoms to anti depressants making it hard to get off even though its such a weak opiate the depression that comes from stopping the drug can be unbearable.

Thanks for replying!!! Yeah, I've heard a lot about people having seizures on tramadol. I've taken it before for back pain, and it did give me a small buzz. And since I'm such a lightweight I was just gonna start out with 50mg of tramadol and see how that feels. I honestly probably wouldn't go over 100mg just to be safe....you think that'd be okay?

I recommend taking the tramadol first. I like to take one every 25 minutes until I'm up to about 150 to 200mg. The tramadol may help inhibit liver enzymes and potentiate the hydro. If you take the hydro first it may stop the tramadol from being metabolized as well, thus reducing its recreational potential.

With your tolerance you will probably only need 100mg of tram, like you said. I haven't had any problems mixing them. That being said there is still an increased siezure risk when combining tramadol with drugs that aren't anticonvulsants.

I've only done tramadol recreationally so I'm not sure how it is for pain but like you tramadol gives me a great buzz and that's even with a tolerance to other opioids.
 
Tramadol is one of those weird drugs. Most people get almost nothing from it, but there is a small percentage of us (like me) who get "f"ed up off it. I personally get wired off my a-- like I had done some speed; I have stayed up for 3 days off of it. Only you can find out if it will do you like that or not. Definitely start off with 100 mg by itself (without any other opioids in your system) to see how it affects you. And be careful, don't start taking anything like 400-500mg mg at a time, it does mess with your seizure threshold. Been there, done that, had the ambulance ride. So, if you use it, treat it with care. And if possible, if you choose to use it as a party drug, get a hold of an anti-seizure drug to take with it, like Neurontin. It won't affect your high, but it will provide some protection against seizures. But, always treat it with care, and don't over do it.
 
tramadol is great, the only problem with it is it makes it extremely hard for me to focus my eyes on one thing. It also lasts for 8-12 hours which is fucking awesome!

How could you possibly know this? Everyone is individual, plus you are giving out false information. Tramadol is a synthetic opiate with active metabolites, one being o-desmethyltramadol which is 200x + as potent at Mu receptors. It is also an SRA (serotonin releasing agent) not an ssri, and finally an NRI (norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor.

And lastly just to add my own experience, in a certain combination i find Tramadol + ? is a powerful high that rivals Oxy 40mg or better. stay safe play safe.
 
I am with you, it works great for me but my brother dosnt get affected by it. So more for me Yay!!
