Heroin Thinking about IV for the first time..

probably the best decision of your life you just made there to not IV. i know i've been in the position where i've really desperately wanted to try to IV drugs but i've always come to bluelight, been talked out of it (which i am forever grateful) or just realise how stupid it is to go down that path. i've even been handed pure heroin on a plate in front of me essentially ready to put into my veins. i still resisted and i always will.

also, if you come to this forum and state you don't want to hear about the dangers, risks and problems around IV use as you've made up your mind, people won't challenge you here. they will simply put forward the safest way to use your DOC IV. you may find one or two, but normally people will give you the information and you make up your mind with what to do with it. it's completely fair and just as people just want to help you in the best way they can by reducing your risks to death as much as possible.

it will eat you alive. if you've come to that point of using opiates where you're not getting high anymore, its time to pack it in for a while. not switch over to IV. its two paths - one which will destroy you and everything around you, everything you've known and everything you will know. or second, take control of your addiction and get out of the shit.

What this person said is the truth. Don't IV, you will have a lot more fun with anything drugwise if you keep yourself from ever going down this route.

Not only will you not be able to get as high anymore, risk all kinds of shit, and probably destroy your life

You wont be able to be happy ever again.. I say this because I used to be a pretty happy person and had a decent life.. once I started to IV heroin, I have not and probably will not ever be happy like I was before the inevetibly bad decision to shoot up something that could have been fine.

Don't do it dude, don't. Please.

scares the hell out of me.

OP, good decision in deciding not to IV! :)
Thank you for taking our warnings as they were intended.
I wish I could go back and never IV, once you pick up the needle it takes you down a dark and scary road.
If you ever have questions or need a reminder why not to IV or just want to talk feel free to PM me.

Not going to be your dad but just wanted to say that you need to realize most people can't stop using IV once they start. I know for me and all my friends that was always the case. If you still want to do it the obvious thing is to use a new needle. I know it sounds obvious but I've seen so many people ruin their veins with bad rigs. Secondly use good, clean, preferably bottled water. DO NOT use a cigarette filter. That shit is so incredibly dumb but I've seen people do it thousands of times.

Most importantly is to use a VERY little amount of your drug of choice. Don't think your a badass and shoot what you short. Good luck.

You will not be able to control your habit once you start IVing. And there is no going back. At first yes, smaller amounts will get you high. But tolerance is inevetible, you will soon be right back where you are now. But things will be a lot worse.

I 100% agree and second what was said.

I have to agree too with rhun...it changed the whole game for me. and everything lost it's sparkle cuz it feels so damn good. it's been five years and i still have cravings. if you are going to do it get involved in a needle exchange program in your area, if you have one, always use clean needles. stay safe <3

Just to echo what other people have said, I think you have made the right decision. Even though my IV habit didn't escalate straight away after my first IV experience, it definitely made me forget about every other ROA available for the drug, as they seemed wasteful. When I found the right dose (for me) however, there was no turning back. You won't feel complete again without it. Not for a long time at least.
